Our vintage axes and hatchets are meticulously restored to as near their original state as possible and our procedures for each head is as follows:
1. Cleaning
2. Inspection
3. Re-profiling
4. Sharpening
5. Handle installation. A new top quality handle in ash or hickory is carefully fitted for each axe head.
With a top grade handle combined with high quality vintage steel, these axes and hatchets will give great usable service for many years.
