Hand-forged Camp Cleaver.

Blade Steel: L6 high carbon tool steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60

Construction: Full tang

Dimensions: Blade: 3 5/8" - Handle: 4 1/4" - Overall: 7 7/8" - Width: 1 3/4" - Thickness: .135"

Scales: Curly maple, secured with four iron pins.

Sheath: Handstitched 7-8 oz. veg tan leather with welt. Decorated with brass tacks.

Finish: Aged finish.

This cleaver is stamped with my maker's mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Hand-made in the traditions of long ago. Hand-forged for those tough jobs on the frontier. Very sharp.
