Custom Hand-forged Belt/Camp Knife

Blade Steel: L6 high carbon tool steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60

Construction: Full Tang

Dimensions: Blade 5 1/8" - Handle 5" - Overall 10 1/8" - Width 1 3/8" - Thickness 1/8"

Scales: Black walnut scales, secured with a rawhide/cord bolster and four iron pins.

Sheath: Hand stitched. Rawhide over veg tan leather with a welt. Decorated with a deerhide fringe and brass tacks.

Finish: Period correct finish with forge marks.

Special Feature: File worked blade.

This knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Great for re-enactors or collectors who crave tradition. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago. Very sharp.
